Praying Down the Rain 3 | Tongues | Jim Hammond | LWCC

Last week, Pastor Jim taught the third installment of his series entitled, “Praying Down the Rain.” He used 1st Corinthians 13:8–10 as his scriptural reference: “Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” Incredibly, there are those in Christendom who teach tongues have ceased! But Pastor Jim very excellently went through the Word and proved why the gift of tongues has not ceased, but is, in fact, the most powerful tool believers have in praying out the plans and purposes of God in the earth!
